FRAGILITY AND STRENGTH
Can they coexist?

Vanni

For a long time now something has led me to think about the beauty of wisteria and therefore to paint it frequently.
Unique and exclusive colors and chromatic shades, gentle and harmonious shapes that connote a plant that is only apparently fragile but in reality extremely strong and resistant.
And here then, while I paint it, I think not only of its beauty and how I can enhance it at that moment, but also of these symbolic qualities that seem to be the antipodes and that instead coexist perfectly in this splendid plant.
The fragility, represented by the fantastic shades of a tender and oblong flower, contrasted with the strength of a trunk which - after not having feared soils that are not very rich and well cared for - still has the strength to seek solid supports by clinging to them in a definitive and eternal way.
How not to find meanings in the symbolism of wisteria.
What may appear weak and fragile is not only in reality extremely powerful but rather becomes a symbol of life that is born, develops, seeks and wraps itself in a support that will be its own for its entire existence and that will end up swallowing up in an exclusive and perennial embrace.
Wisteria is a symbol of life and perennial love.
