The third edition of the exhibition project "Landscapes of Italy" opens today at 5 pm in Gualdo Tadino, a group exhibition hosted at the Casa Cajani Cultural Center, home to the Museum of Ceramics and the Ancient Umbrian Archaeological Museum. The exhibition, which enjoys the patronage of the municipal administration and the Perugia Chamber of Commerce, presents over twenty artists, each with their own stylistic and technical code - painting, photography and installation - who address the theme of the landscape, a natural element that has become the protagonist absolute in painting from the seventeenth century. The first citizen Massimiliano Presciutti will intervene at the event and will be accompanied by poetry readings by Lorenzo Evangelisti, NpL volunteer. “Whether it is natural or urbanized”, explains Catia Monacelli, curator of the project, “the landscape, companion of our existence, evokes strong suggestions in all those who observe it. It is the gaze that we place on the earth, both on natural and artificial elements, it is the personification of space, it is our gaze. And with Landscapes of Italy, in which our beautiful country is told, the artists grasp its potential, make our thinking about space visible, embody an often indefinite idea, denounce, when necessary, abuses towards the environment ".
